On 9th of September 2022 NAV dropped his latest Album
"Demons Protected By Angels"
19 tracks long with some high quality features such as:
- Lil Uzi Vert
- Lil Baby
- Travis Scott
- Don Toliver
- Future
- Gunna
- Lil Durk
- Bryson Tiller & more.
When i heard NAV was dropping this Album i was excited.
In my opinion i think his last Album "Emergency Tsunami" was a W & i'm pretty sure that's an unpopular opinion.
To be honest, on my first listen of this album i expected better.
I dont know, NAV usually hits the spot, but this one just didn't seem to hit the spot.
I'd love to hear your opinion on this, so let me know!
For the replay value, i honestly am not sure if there is any, on first listen i actually haven't added any of these to my rotation other then Never Sleep ft Travis Scott & Lil Baby, but that is barely in my rotation if i'm being honest.
One song that did stand out to me was One Time with Don Toliver ft Future, & to be honest i think Don Toliver carried that song.
But other than that no others really stood out to me.
My Overall Rating - 5/10
Hopefully NAV can bring us some bangers in the future, & on second listen i'll be more open minded, fingers crossed.
I'm actually starting to get worried that Hip-Hop & Melodic Rap is dead.
